General InformationMenus
Our menus are suggested for your convenience and can be customized to meet your specific needs. Our goal is to satisfy your requirements and work with you to produce a menu that is satisfactory to you. We want your Flower Barn experience to be a memorable one.
Beverage Policy
We do not have a liquor license; however, we can apply for a temporary license for service of beer and wine for a fee of $50.00. We have liquor liability insurance for $1 per adult, and our bartenders are licensed. The host is responsible for payment of any/all beer and wine purchased specifically by the caterers for the event. No outside alcohol can be brought in to your event.
Guarantees
Caterer will need guest count estimate one week prior to the affair for ordering purposes. The guaranteed count is due 48 hours before the event. This figure will be considered the minimum attendance figure for billing purposes.
Service Charges
For all Buffet and Hors D'oeuvre menus there will be a 18% service charge or $17.00 / hour per server, whichever is greater. The service charge for served (sit-down) events will be 20% or $17.00 / hour per server, whichever is greater. The service charge could be greater depending on the nature of the serve. A 7% sales tax is added to all billings plus the Food and Beverage Tax for your city and county. Our food is also available as delivery. A fee is charged for delivery and set up, depending on the distance.
Deposits and Payments
A $50.00 deposit is required to hold your reservation of the date for your catering event. The balance is due the day of the affair. Your deposit is refundable within one month cancellation notice.
Rentals / Locations
The Flower Barn can arrange for your rental needs ( chairs, tables, tents, etc.) a fee does apply. We are also happy to assist you with your linen, china and floral needs. We do have a china handling charge, depending on the number of pieces. Our Barn facility is also available in warm weather for rental. We can also suggest other locations.
Additional Information
The Flower Barn reserves the right to inspect and control all events. Liability for damages to the premises is the obligation of the hosts. On food quotes more that 90 days out price is subject to change with fluctuation of wholesale prices. You would be notified as soon as possible if a change becomes necessary.
